Want: Rock Band 3 for XBox with Keyboard!

This is so cool.  Rock Band 3 is coming and they now have a keyboard.  You can use the keyboard like a norma keyboard or sling it over your shoulder like a keytar.  How cool is that?

 

 

This is so on my Hanukkah list.  I would love to see this sitting under the artificial christmas tree. Rock Band is a game all 4 of my family likes to play, and the kids even play it with their buddies down the street as well.  We've been known to go out for date night and end up coming home to host a rousing session of ROCK BAND!  (note the all caps!) into the night before we have to pick the kids up from their babysitting.

MP3 Players

My kids have an MP3 player that I love - it's a Sansa Shaker and it has a built in speaker and also takes SD cards.  I like that because I can get SD cards really cheap and put different playlists of kids music on each SD card.   Since that MP3 player doesn't have a screen or navigation menu, its actually better to have less on smaller SD cards.   I like the idea of an MP3 player that will take SD or micro sd cards because it gives you a lot of options.

Musing about Music

I am listening to the most amazing song - it's called Framed, by Lena.  She is a very young singer songwriter.  You can check out Lena's myspace page to hear the song.

I've also really been liking Duffy, and Corinne Bailey Rae as well.  It seems like this year is a great time for female singers with a bluesy 50's feel to them.   People need to relax, and the female voice is very soothing.   I like a jazzy bluesy song with a catchy hook.

Are you buying records as CDs, iTunes downloads, or by other means?  The most recent music purchase I made was actually a DVD of the Police "Certifiable."
