First of all, I can't believe there have been 7 episodes of this show already. This was the first episode I thought was any good. The idea of Col. Young using the ancient communications stones to switch bodies with Telford and then have sex with his wife was really interesting. Quite an ethics violation, in my opinion. And the fact that the connection blipped out during the middle of hot sex and Telford got quite a surprise for a moment there.
Then the end of the show was Telford ringing Mrs. Young's doorbell. Hmmm..... what's going on there. She was pretty strangely willing to jump in bed with another guy's body with her husband's consciousness in it, wasn't she? Great way to have sex with a another person and not technically commit adultery.
I would be pretty pissed off if I switched bodies with someone for work (military purposes) and they took my body and had sex with it. And then the senator's daughter was getting drunk in her borrowed body. Love to be that chick who get's back in her body and then wonders why she has a hangover.
This show really has to improve if they want to keep it on the air.
1. Less passive "this is happening" stuff and more active fixing stuff. Use the stuff on the ship, architect solutions.
2. Less, infighting, more teamwork and action.
3. Math boy (Eli) needs to take a leadership role in investigating the ship. Why is Rush the only one who ever knows anything.
4. The on Earth moments of the show have been some of the best part, they need to bring that energy to the Destiny. We need to see more of the huge ship. What kind of office furniture or gadgets can they find? We need some of that Atlantis wonderment and less Battlestar Gallactica style grunge and politics.
