Accrding to Entertainment Weekly and SciFi.com the Fox's series Fringe will move its production to Vancounver, British Columbia, Canada if it is picked up for a second season.
I really like this show and hope they do continue it. Too many times however, have we all been burned when our favorite TV show is cancelled before its time. I mean really - Everybody Loves Raymond gets like a 50 year run or something, but Serenity gets one season. Wher is the JUSTICE people?
Apparently New York state was granting some major tax incentives for the shoot there, which are set to expire, which is why they want to move production to Canada. Great- more jobs moving to a foreign country too. :::shakes head:::
I wonder if they will start paying lower wages to the crew? Maybe hire college students over summer break the way College Pro Painters does. Everyone is cutting costs I guess - makes sens.
