CNN today has coined a new phrase - Tivo guilt. This is where you feel like the programs on your Tivo that you have yet to watch are weighing on you like a homework assignment.
I have a 3 year old and a 5 year old, and my Tivos are full of such gems as Playhouse Disney's Imagination Movers, and Cartoon Network's Transformers Animated. If there is a couple episodes of House and Sanctuary piling up on there then I feel happy that adult tastes are represented SOMEWHERE on the thing! Having an episode of Heroes on the Tivo is like having some great steaks marinating in the fridge or freezer - its a stash of entertainment that hubby and I get to watch if we can EVER get those kids to sleep. In their own beds, please God.
I am sorry CNN, but I do not have Tivo guilt. I admit to deleting without watching the PBS Jews in America series though. It was just way boring even though I wanted to enjoy it. However guilt is too strong of a word. If I was inclined to feel guilty about anything it would be something more important than deleting crap off the Tivo. After all, everything will be on again someday.
