I finally saw the Sci Fi miniseries Tin Man. It was pretty cool. I can see why Zooey Deschanel has such a fan following - she is really beautiful and has alot of charisma.
I liked how clever the writers of the show were in making a new unique story that is "based on" The Wizard of Oz" but takes off in a different direction. Its a nice modern take on a classic story. Kathleen Robertson who played the evil Queen Azkadellia is also gorgeous.
Yes, the special effects were a bit on the cheesy side, but the fresh take on the story and the engaging acting and dialog made for a really interesting 6 hours of TV. I liked Richard Dreyfus's cameo as the Mystic Man.
